Kilig:
a feeling of exhilaration or elation caused by an exciting or romantic experience.
While writing Tattoo My Love, I discover Riley has a love of words and is a bit of a Scrabble nerd (gotta love her). Throughout the book she introduces us to some obscure and hilarious words. Some of my favorites:
Bibesy:
a seriously enthusiastic interest in drinking
Tittynope:
a small amount of something left over
Doch-an-Dorris:
a last drink, a drink for the road
Snollygoster:
a shrewd and villainous person
Akrasia:
the act of knowing you shouldn’t be doing something but doing it anyway
Honeyfuggle:
throwing compliments to get what you want
Finifugal:
the resistance to the ending of things, anytime you want to prolong a final moment or prevent a seemingly inevitable ending
